Allbreeds Pets wanted to create their own platform away from competitive markets such as Etsy and eBay and establish a premium brand. Many products in these markets are low quality and mass produced, creating an environment where price is the deciding factor for purchase.

Each collar is lovingly hand crafted by the Mother and Daughter team with the products even modelled by their own dogs.

Allbreeds Pets is a home-run online doggy couture business. Sell bespoke collars, clothing and other pet items, the business required assistance to break away from the crowd.

The Identity

Upon the initial discovery session, we discussed her target market, competitors and what made Allbreeds Pets different from other businesses. After I understood the target market and product offering, I created a mood board to show the client what I was thinking. Next I produced logo concepts with colourways, early on the client settled for a paw print design with a heart in the centre which also looked like a dog snout.

The Website

The client already had experiance selling on Etsy and Ebay for a number of years and now wanted to funnel customers to her own platform. If this was to be successful, the digital experiance would have to be simple, stress free and offer something extra.

Photography

Photography is an important factor in any retail business or lifestyle brand. In this case, it gave the client an opportunity to show her passion for her business and love for dogs. Many of the product shots were taken with a home interior setting as it would speak to her main client base more than a typical white background product shot would. Some of the more promotional images were taken outside or in the streets around Bruntsfield, Edinburgh.
